Explaining the ACA Compliance Overview Page
On the ACA Compliance Overview page, the Enrolled in Coverage column on the Employee Details section of the dashboard shows whether each of a company's employees has opted to enroll in or decline health insurance coverage that the company has offered.
Employees that are enrolled in employer-sponsored health plans are not eligible for tax credits for any insurance purchased on the Exchange (the individual marketplace), and moreover, are unlikely to try to procure additional insurance. Because they cannot receive tax credits from the Exchange, they cannot trigger employer mandate penalties.
