What is age redetermination?

Age determination is a setting for Life, AD&D, and Disability plans that describes how often an employee’s age should be re-determined during the plan’s policy, for the purpose of re-calculating their plan premium. If an enrolled person has a birthday that places them into a new age band, this setting indicates when their new premium should be effective.
