How does Lattice integrate with Zenefits?

Lattice is a performance management software that helps you unlock your team’s potential.

When you integrate Lattice with Zenefits, you can use the integration to:

  • Sync employees from Zenefits to Lattice.
  • Update managers and reports as they update in Zenefits.
  • Remove people automatically as they are terminated in Zenefits.

Setting up the Lattice integration

You can set up your Lattice integration by selecting the Add an App option on the main dashboard and then selecting Lattice from the list. 


You'll need to have administrator permissions on the Lattice account you want to link in order to set up the integration. Once you click on "Add an App", then you will log into your Lattice account. From there, please follow these steps

You'll also need to grant permissions to Lattice for the following items in Zenefits:

  • Basic company information
  • Employee employment information
  • Company departments
  • Company locations
  • Employees'  basic information
  • Employees'  work email addresses
  • Employees'  managers
  • Employees'  employment statuses
  • Employees'  work departments
  • Employees' work phone numbers
  • Employees'  work locations
  • Types of employees

Once you've granted these permissions, you'll be taken to the Lattice site to complete the setup. Once the setup is completed, the green Connected status will appear under the app's  icon . 

Using the Lattice integration

Once Lattice and Zenefits are synced, the app will show up in your main administrator dashboard. You can use it by clicking it and then selecting Manage. In the integration, you'll be able to see which employees are synced in Lattice , manage them in Lattice through the Manage option, or disconnect Lattice  from Zenefits through the Disconnect option.
