Changing Employment Types in Zenefits

Your staff works hard, and promotions are one way of recognizing a job well done. So how do you do this in Zenefits? And how do you handle the different aspects of a promotion?

When you're ready to give someone a promotion, there are a few things that we recommend doing to ensure a smooth process.

  • Document any changes in role change, pay rate, etc.
  • If possible, make the change align with the start of a new pay period, or be prepared to run an off-cycle pay run
  • Determine if your company needs to outline any policies surrounding promotions or role changes
