Labor Fields in Zenefits Payroll

For Administrators

To distribute your payroll expenses across labor groups, follow the instructions below:

  1. From your Zenefits dashboard, click the Payroll app.
  2. Click the Pay Runs tab, then select a pay run.
  3. Click Edit next to one of your worker's names.

You'll notice that once they are set up, labor fields will appear on the worker's paystub along the top, detail portion. If you need to change a labor field for one of your workers, see these steps.

Keep in mind that labor groups in Payroll will not be applied to Overtime Earnings. Learn more about Overtime Premium.
