Edit or Copy Existing Templates

Administrators can either make changes or clone existing templates in the Hiring app.

To Update Existing Template:

  1. Select the Hiring app from the administrator dashboard
  2. Navigate to Settings in the menu bar
  3. The Documents & Templates tab will open by default
  4. Scroll to the desired template and edit by selecting the pencil icon

To Clone Existing Template:

Navigate to the desired template by following the previous steps then click on the copy icon on the right hand side of the desired template. Cloning the template creates a copy of the existing document in the system. Administrator can then make required changes to this template and save the template with a new template name.

If the template was not made using Zenefits' template tool, you'll need to copy the content of the letter and create a new template in order to make any changes to the template.
