During the new hire process, Zenefits collects bank information for direct deposit by default but also gives the option to receive paper checks. To offer direct deposit only, uncheck the Preferred Payment Method (Check or Direct Deposit) option when you configure the hiring process. Administrators cannot disable the direct deposit option.
Some states require that people are given an option between direct deposit and check. Before selecting this option, consult with legal counsel on compliance with local statutes.
