How do I change a contribution scheme after Open Enrollment has been launched?

Please contact your broker, or administrator with broker permissions, to change the contribution scheme for your group.

Brokers can follow the steps below to update the contribution schemes for a group while their Open Enrollment window is still active.

  1. Log in to your administrator or broker account.
  2. Open the Benefits Administration app.
  3. Click the Benefits tab.
  4. Click Contributions in the upper right hand side of the page.
  5. Select Upcoming Contributions from the drop down on the left side of the page.
  6. Click Update Contributions at the bottom of the page.
  7. Make any edits using the edit icon next to each scheme, then click Publish Changes.
Currently, brokers are not able to change contribution schemes outside of an Open Enrollment period.

Please have your broker contact Zenefits Customer Care if you need to make changes to contribution schemes outside of an Open Enrollment period.

Your broker will also need to contact us if they launched Open Enrollment with the same contribution scheme as the previous year for all lines of coverage, but are now attempting to change the contribution scheme for the current Open Enrollment.
