What to Expect When Turning on True Biweekly Deductions

Here's a list of common next steps when a company is switched onto true biweekly deductions.

  • There may be a delay as to when "true Bi-Weekly" amounts can be pushed to payroll. This can be for a number of reasons, including, but not limited to: unmapped codes, clarification needed for codes, no historical paystub information, a bug, etc.

  • All lines will be switched to true biweekly, including benefits that are usually elected using a monthly amount, i.e., Commuter Benefits and HSA.

  • No catch-ups will be pushed. Zenefits will not immediately calculate catch-ups once the switch is made. If you want the catch ups, we are not able to reset the deductions after the switch and it will generate COD pending deduction adjustments. Before switching to true bi-weekly, it's important to make sure that there are no pending adjustments as the hard reset will wipe out these adjustments.
