Handling Rehires with Pay Connect

To rehire an employee who was terminated in Zenefits, in the Directory section of the admin dashboard click the Add button. Or click the Hiring app and then click the Hire button. Then follow the steps on how to rehire.

If you are an admin rehiring someone, complete the above steps in Zenefits, and then contact us once they've completed on boarding.

*After they are rehired, it is the admin's responsibility to zero out any deductions in payroll. If they are rehired with deductions in payroll, but none in Zenefits, they could be deducted incorrectly. Zenefits will not zero out lines in payroll if there are no deductions in Zenefits.
