Enable Payments from Zenefits Payroll to Your Xero Account
After your pay run is processed, Zenefits Payroll will send the pay run details to Xero. If you want the pay run details sent to a clearing account in Xero, you'll need to make sure payments are enabled for that account.
To configure your clearing account in Xero:
- Log in to Xero.
- In the Accounting menu, select Advanced.
- In the dropdown list, click Chart of Accounts.
- For each account that is (or will) be mapped to a payroll transaction type in Zenefits Payroll:
- Select Enable Payments to this account.
- Click Save.
- Repeat for all accounts that should be mapped in Zenefits Payroll.
