How can I set up deductions for domestic partnership enrollments?

If you are setting up health insurance deductions for your company, you may need to take the following into consideration. Zenefits Payroll does not give you the option to separate the amount of your workers' and dependents' deductions. It is automatically calculated and set up as pre-tax.

What can I do to separate these deductions?

  1. If you use Zenefits Ben Admin or Ben Connect products, stop the automatic deduction mapping. You can request this by contacting Customer Care.
  2. Calculate the amounts you'd like to deduct pre- and post- tax.
  3. Add these amounts into the worker's Pay Template.
