The Time Off feature allows workers to know how much time they will have at the time of their request.
Workers can go to Time Off app and enter their request for time off. As soon as they enter the dates, the balance available at that point in time is visible as the bottom of the box.
If they have a sufficient amount of time available at the time of their request, the request will go through successfully.
If they do not have sufficient amount of time available by the time of their request, they will receive the notification that they do not have sufficient amount of time available for the request.
PTO balances will be available based on the order in which the requests were entered, not chronological order.
Request for 09/01 - 09/05 is requested and approved.
Request for 06/15 - 06/ 20 is not allowed to be requested because they only had sufficient balance for their request in September.
*Please note that this feature will not be available to anyone accruing time off based on the amount of hours worked due the inability to estimate the amount of hours they will work in the future.
